In My Head

We went shopping yesterday for some random things since we got Best Buy gift cards for Christmas. Ended up trading them with Dad for $60 so he could get some new wireless adapters and a router for home, and then we went to another store in the mall to get some games. My sister and I almost bought all the Zelda games that were in the store, which means we would have only 2 games missing from our collection, but we restrained ourselves to just buying Majora's Mask and Windwaker. And my family had surprised me with Ocarina of Time for Christmas. (Yes, can anyone say Zelda-whore?) But we can go back to buy the first two games since we have the system for those. I can't believe it either @_@;; We also got Banjo-Tooie, since my mom adores Banjo-Kazooie. And it was free *_* Yay for nice employees!

I went to a wedding reception two nights ago, and ended up spending the entire evening with people I haven't had positive relations with in the past. And I enjoyed it! I guess I've (finally) grown out of the "You stole my friends and you're a bunch of snobs" stage. They really are cool people, I just wish I had been closer to them earlier. Better late then never, right? After the reception, we ended up going to one of their houses to celebrate a birthday, but a lot of the people invited bailed at the last minute (including the birthday girl's sister), so we ended up watching BET and playing with her 5 year old cousin. At least I got to eat cookie cake and play with Play-Doh >_>;

I'm going to Houston tomorrow for Christmas, so I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!

I haven't been free the last few days because I was helping my sister study for her semester exams, but her last exams were today. So I know that I will have some time now to do what I planned (including taking new pics, right Endy? and that fic, Robyn? ^^;)

One more final left...

I'm back in Austin now. I was prescribed three different meds for THE VIRUS, but I think I'll be getting better eventually. What I don't understand is why my shot isn't working. That's right, I got a shot yesterday in hopes of getting this thing to go away faster...I'm not totally sure what it's doing right now, but I can breathe through my nose again.

I have a jar of enough dry ingredients to make three dozen cookies AND a cute little holiday mug, both from my roomie. And a tasty candy cane *_* So sweet *_* But of course, all I did was study this entire time and I didn't get to buy anything for my roomies. Or for my Secret Santa person. Grr. -_-;; I'll have to take care of those after the finals.

And now, I must go study and catch up on my doses.

I've been at home since Friday evening. I've come down with a nasty case of the flu or something like it, and I'm still not better. I have three more finals to take, one being Thursday night. I'm going back tomorrow. I spilled water on my laptop last night, and it's still working just fine. I have a doctor's appointment to go to in a few minutes. I hate Diff EQ with a passion now, I'm just glad it will all be over after Saturday. All = Diff EQ.
