Harry Potter and the Wedding Ring of Kley?

Here I am at work, at 8:37 or so in the morning, and I had been keeping a lady on hold for the last 15 minutes or so because one of the Purchasing people is out and the other one is on the phone with clients...and I kept routinely taking her off of hold to make sure she was still there, and there she was, talking to a male co-worker about...

...Harry Potter.

From what I overheard (hee hee!), she is married, wears a 3-carat ring, got married 3 days before her birthday, and is an avid Harry Potter fan. And she spends lots of time on the computer. Woke up and got on the computer at 6, left for work at 7, was up late last night on the computer... She brought the 5th one to work apparently, and was reading it because she couldn't put it down. The 4th one left her hanging, and she was facing withdrawal until she got her hands on the 5th one. And the male co-worker is married with kids, and has all 5 books in hardback. He's read them too. Sort of.

I'm highly amused. And it doesn't help any that this lady sounded like Kley. Vocal inflections and all @_@ But with a slightly deeper voice.

This reminds me of what I was thinking about 2 nights ago. You know, the day of the UPS guy fiasco? *shudders* And the freaky phone calls? (Moron...) All I have to say is...Thank you, Dilbert!

God help me.

It seems that I pretty much have nothing to do at work until about 2:30. That's when I get things assigned to do, people to call and page, and packages to send out via FedEx. And then at 2:50, I start getting the phone calls. I got at least 7 phone calls (I lost count) between 2:50 and 2:55 alone. It makes me think I should have my hours back to 9 - 4, but I'm not going to change it up again. Too complicated.

To all my greppies: You know all those typos we make in the chats? Can you all send me those famous, used and abused typos? Just put them in my comments. *cackles*

I went out to Chili's with Chad, and then we went to go see Pirates of the Caribbean. Depp & Bloom. What a combination of ultra-yummy goodness. Keira Knightly was good in it too, though her role in Bend It Like Beckham struck me as more...focused? It was a different role. Tomboy to high-class lady. Johnny Depp stole the show with his fruity/half-drunk half-stoned brand of humor. He was crazy from take one. I loved it. *_*

Ugh, too tired.

*edit* Oh yeah, I know how to edit my own paintbrushes now! In how I paint, that is. ZzzzzzzzZZzzzzzzzzZzzzz...

So anyway, I just got back from my week long vacation in Fairfax on Sunday night. Needless to say, I had fun! My cousins are so cute *_* But there wasn't anyone there my age, so at some points I did get bored. -_- And I was SO close to meeting Robyn...and it couldn't happen. ;_; One of these days, ne? I'll move out of your cell phone soon...

I gave my two weeks notice yesterday at work. After next week, I'll have time to devote to myself. A REAL summer vacation, spending time doing nothing. >D I'll study, of course (damn those Fs), but I'll at least get to do things I want to do.

Speaking of which...I should go do those things now.

And I want to see Pirates of the Caribbean. Anyone want to join me?
