I got the book around noon on Saturday. Started reading it at 4:30. Been trying to read every spare chance I got. Finished it last night. Wow. That was...almost unbelivable. I mean, almost like I read a fanfic or something...I can't believe it. (I've read too many fanfics, arrgh.) I have to read that frm the beginning again, so I can absorb everything. In fact, after that, I plan to read all five books back to back nonstop to get the full effect.

I got a manicure set, a watermelon scented candle, and Godiva chocolates for my birthday. Thanks Reema and Christi! The chocolate cake was yummy too. *_*_*_*
Work's been slow, but I don't mind. I apparently am so helpful to everyone and they adore me. And they fear me, for I am the Lab Manager's oldest daughter. Bwa ha ha. But dammit, I can't flirt with anyone! Not that there's anyone there to flirt with...@_@
The book will be in my hands at 8 AM Saturday. Can't wait.

Adventures in Receptionist-ing This past Wednesday, I went home for lunch with my Dad so we could pick up my sister. When I returned, I noticed that the boombox that was next to my computer was gone. And that was the only thing missing. A bottle of toasted hazlenut lotion appeared on my desk, but I digress. I assumed at first that because it belonged to the previous receptionist, and she left the job due to a ruptured disc in her back, someone must have come to collect her things. But that was the only thing of hers that was taken. So I sent out a mass e-mail to everyone at work, asking for info on said boombox. I did get a message about making a really bad trade unless I just happened to love toasted hazlenut lotion that much from one of our funny guys in accounting. And then I got a message about how two of our employees did come to collect her stuff (on request), and forgot to leave a note for me. And they were dying of laughter because of how quickly I had noticed and how they had forgotten to leave a note. Everybody said, "Good job! You were quick to take action." I was thinking, "I just wanted to hear some music... ^_^;;"
Friday night, I went bowling with Reema, Kacy, and Tim. Loads of fun! And I actually bowled a decent game. @_@;; Wow. And then we went to Marble Slab afterwards, yum. *_* Amaretto Chocolate Ice Cream with chocolate chips for me. And Christi came by to visit me there after work. :D We had planned to go out the next morning, but we didn't get to.

I didn't get to talk to Chris or Lily on their birthday, so I wish you two a Happy Belated Birthday :D (Friday the 13th, eh?)

Ok, I know I just vanished into thin air these last few weeks, here's the update: -Work's been fun, made a new friend who just started working there. Clara's cool :D -I went to my friend's graduation party yesterday, that was pretty fun. Met some old friends from school, taught them how to bhangra. *_*
I probably did more, but I'm too tired to remember/care.
