I read this article on my flight back to Austin...and this part of it cracked me up. Enjoy! A gelato in Florence.
It could be the title of a novel. A timeless tale, it would be about two lovers who meet while ordering the same flavor of Italian ice cream (this would also work as an opera).
The smitten couple would return each week to “their” gelato shop and let the one order for the other. Shy in the beginning, they would start out only sharing licks of each other’s treat. As their romance progressed, they would move on to nibbles. In the throes of a passion, they’d tumble into the ultimate expression of devotion — letting the other take the first bite of their cone.
Everything would be glorious until one day he orders pistachio. She’s aghast. “I thought you knew me!” she cries. “But, but, but …” he stammers. She turns on her heel. He stands there, a thin stream of pale green ice cream running down the two cones, one in each hand.
Like all great love stories, this one would not only cause rivers of tears and heaves of snuffles, it would make no sense whatsoever. That’s because, at its core, a love story is like love itself. Which is to say, it makes no sense whatsoever.

Fucking A. So I don't know why Blogger's messing up...but here's the REAL link :
The things I go through because I forgot a quotation mark...BLARGH.
So, I haven't blogged in what, 5 days? And I feel strangely lost... So here's what's new. I have a massive program due Thursday night, a chem test Friday morning, and I had my choir concert earlier today. I think my away message sums up yesterday... "Just got back from choir practice and eating brunch. I need to go to HEB to get that toilet paper! SOMEONE GIVE ME A RIDE >:o And I am SO exhausted, but wired. I went to bed at 10 last night and woke up at 9 this morning, and I feel great...except for the crick in my shoulder. And I got a semi-workout today walking to the other side of campus for choir practice. And then standing for almost 2 hours straight and belting out Soprano I stuff (I'm really an Alto I). I was told that I can be a Soprano I next semester (I'm SII now) with a bit of vocal training *.* So I figure I should get some training in this summer or something so I can expand my range...and make the most of it. And now I'm pretty sure I'm rambling, what kind of away message is this? I should be blogging about this instead. Oh well. I'm away!" I woke up today, went to concert practice, went through the concert, laughed my ass off at the men's Ground Round song! What happens is that you hear a song that sounds kinda old-timey, and then they guys sing it in a round. And in the round, you hear the subliminal messages the composer thought was funny. "hot dogs" "look up her dress" (my fave) "your mama wore old army shoes"
Fuel has been added to the fire...the HARRY POTTER fire, that is!
My parents surprised me with the Chamber of Secrets DVD on last night! (I flew back in last night ^_^;) And I'm like *_* And I saw that "hot and bothered" scene...and nearly fell off my couch. (Cowch?) AND Mom decided she wanted to read Sorceror's Stone, so she's reading that now since I brought all of them home. I HAVE CORRUPTED HER!!!!!!! BWA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My mom is so cool. *_*

What's new: -I studied massively for my chem test, and I just found out that I failed it miserably -I tired myself out that same Friday by shopping and working on decor for the formal from 4 PM to 1 AM straight -I saw Chamber of Secrets on DVD courtesy of my fave choir twins, Rachel and Elizabeth, while working at their house -I managed to get up the next day, do some studying, set up decor, and then get completely ready for the formal -The karaoke formal was a blast, and the guys there were surprisingly good singers O_O John, you are a ham! And my tongue isn't THAT long! -I was suddenly reminded of how much I missed Annette, and how she should get married to Jay *coughrightnowcough* -Yesterday I hung out with Paloma for about an hour, I haven't seen in her in ages even though we live in the same dorm; she also told me I need to flirt more _-_;; -Yesterday I also text messaged Mike again, and he responded within a minute (again) O_O;; He's doing just fine, starting a new frat, and he misses everyone -Yesterday I also noticed that my throat was itching, a sign that I was going to be sick today -Last night I went to sleep at 9, woke up to Dad calling to check up on me at 10:30, and I told him I had fallen asleep doing math, so he said for me to sleep *_*;; I love my Daddy ;_; Of course, I went back to sleep at 10:30, right as my roomie and her girls came in madly chatting about their costumes and crap...that was a nuisance. But then again, how many times have I been online until 3 AM with my light on typing away furiously? It probably bugs her too...an eye for an eye. -Today I am sick as a dog, my shoulders now hurt, massive headache, coughing fit, sore throat...why am I on the computer? -_- -My roomie is playing Claire De Lune, which I absolutely love now *_* And I have a nail polish with the same name, it's gorgeous *_*;;; -I have 13 days left of class -I'm going home for the weekend on Thursday afternoon, coming back Sunday afternoon/evening, depending on if I can get an earlier flight (stoopid 5 hour layover >O)
I can't think of anything else, I'm growing too weak and I want to just relax...maybe I'll read? A nap seems pointless, since I had a good night's sleep (almost 12 hours!), but resting seems nice. Perhaps I'll read? Or work on a layout or something O_o

So, it seems that a new word has been created...making its entry into the Oxford Dictionary is none other than J K Rowling's coined word "muggle." Check out the article here. 9th from bottom currently...
Looks like I'll have to add a new word into Eliv Thade now, won't I...?

Provided by Astrology.com. You can try to stick to a schedule, but you have a million things to do and not enough time to do them. Prepare for a mobile day -- you'll being everywhere at once. Whether you have to embark on important errands or you're just running around aimlessly, it feels good to be alive and moving. It's a good idea to start with the most important thing on your to-do list and then make your way down to the less important tasks. Make sure you take time for yourself as well. High-impact workouts are favored.
Indeed. O_O;;; It's so totally me O_O;;;
This weekend was fun. My family came to visit me (aka make me study), and my sis had a math/science state meet in San Antonio yesterday, so they picked me up so we could be there for the weekend. That hotel, wow. So gorgeous! Embassy Suites, if you must know. And there was a wedding reception going on, with a mariachi band and stuff >_> it was cool <_<
While my sis finished her competition at UTSA and then went to Fiesta Texas, I actually managed to learn math. WOO _-_ At least I won't utterly flunk the final now. I bought two fragrances for myself, so pretty *_* They're from the Rimmel London line, London Cool and London Glam. London Glitz was nice, but a bit fruity for my taste. And after I bought it, I realized that I was still stuck in my Brit Binge mode - in my subconcious anyway...help?
Dad just called, time to do math homework. *runs*

April Fool's Day. I don't even need to celebrate it, I am the Fool of April. Foolish failure, that's me.
